I never had the pleasure to interact with this fine gentleman.

I have read many tributes in memory of Mastery as a Marine, writer, poet, published author, and friend.

Your beautifully penned poem is another fine tribute to one of our very own. My prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Hi Roy,
Thanks for writing this tribute to Bob Hartson. I enjoyed it very much, and I'm sure we'll see him in Heaven. Just think how much we'll be able to write about in that place. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. Who will finish his last novel? Can't leave Cleve and Mo high and dry. Perhaps they can just drop everything and get married... sail down to an island in the Caribbean.
My favorite lines,
"Such Mastery your pen displayed"
"We'll not forget this kindly man"
Isn't it something how we get to know and appreciate writers in Fanstory, never having met them? And then, one day, they pass away... adewpearl, Dean Kuch, Mastery... to mention just a few. We miss them like they were a relative.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. He sounds like a fine gentlemen and a talented writer. I will have to check out his novels on Amazon. It's sad to say good-bye but his works will always stay with you. He left a legacy behind. I'm sure his stories touched many.

A beautiful tribute to one of fan story's great authors. I didn't get to know the dear man. but I've heard a lot of great poems from this fellow. I've heard some mention the book Falling Up the Stairs. Do you know where I might find it to read? It sounds like it would be very interesting. Another good one, Roy. Blessings!
