Knowing yourself is the key to truth in life. We trust our judgement when it counts. When we understand how we feel we know how we will react to certain things and that is the control we need.
Your poem of confidence is an intelligent sentiment.

I like your poem about being true to ourselves. When we believe in the Lord and how He has created us uniquely, we know who we are, and do not have to worry what others think of us.
