It's very interesting to see how life can give us some key-points about how to survive trauma and unplesant events: "As she grew up, she cast the thought aside, believing the angel had been a figment of her imagination. Brilliant chapter my friend. I felt as if I was there in the car with young Carrie. Felt the car spinning, saw the doll fly out of her hands. Again, it was brilliantly done.

This has to be my favorite chapter so far. GOD IS MENTIONED LIKE FIVE TIMEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! (Don't worry I'm not mad at the length; this chapter was actually a very satisfying, reasonable, duration. LOL.)
I love the description for the car crash and the conversation between the angle and Carrie was sweet. (We all know though, that all angles are men, but this is your story, you can do whatever you want.)
I too want to know what exactly God needs Carrie's help for and why? I really, really, hope she ends up telling her uncle about what happened with Joseph so that he can get some help. But I won't be able to find out what happens in part 3 next UNTIL MONDAY. *sigh* I wish I knew what was going to happen now... all well, Shana you'll see me again. LOL.

Your review and kind words made me feel so great! I was worried this wouldn't appeal to anyone. My Breedline characters are in touch with their faith. I think it's important to insert that into a book, no matter if there is evil, bad characters or bad scenes. We need God in everything we do. It's important to me. And we need Him now more than ever. I think you would really enjoy my last 2 books, Sins of Chaos and The Immortal. I have a lot of angels and God in those as well.
Glad you mentioned about the angels. My Champlain read my book and he told me angels are only males. I told him that I dream of female angels, so I want to create them in my stories. He said I should go with what my heart tells me. But it's fun to make believe.
Thank you again for taking the time to read my chapter and for the gracious review. It really lifted my spirits today.

This was the first I've read of your work. An interesting chapter and well-written. I thought the mention of the doll hitting the back of the seat and beginning her song was particularly poignant. You evoked a lot of emotion.
