This is a very heart warming, personal story, Mary. It must have been so difficult to go through the pain of silence with your dad. I'm so glad that he saw the light while he still had the time to apologize. And it looks like Harvey was a good guy.

Isn't that lovely Mary? There's nothing worse than falling out with a person, I fell out with my mother a few, but one time I'd resolved after a particularly bitter falling out with mum, I resolved to never see her again, but after six months turned up with my sister, it was her way of "making up", I longed for a relationship that was meaningful, but here I am, motherless, she passed away ten years ago, but we're reconciled for awhile. Beautifully written Mary, bless you, you married well, blessings Roy

There's nothing worse than falling out with a person, I fell out with my mother a few, but one time I'd resolved after a particularly bitter falling out with mum, I resolved to never see her again, but after six months turned up with my sister, it was her way of "making up", I longed for a relationship that was meaningful, but here I am, motherless, she passed away ten years ago, but we're reconciled for awhile.
