Another look back. You have the ability to produce great content. Have you ever tried to tighten up the meter of your poems? I think you are capable of some good ones if you would give it a try.

Not sure what you mean by tighten up the meter Is it the flow and rhyme?I never studied poetry it comes from the heart what I have learned here through fanstory and my friends here.

I hesitate to offer too much because some poets (maybe you are one) will pour out their hearts and are satisfied with the way the words come out. You have done this to a certain extent, but you have made some adjustment in your mind to take care of the rhyme. The rhyme is good. Now, do you want to make another adjustment in your mind to take care of the meter? If you look at lines 4, 6 and 9, these lines are perfect iambic lines with 7 feet. If you read these lines, you will see that they read much more smoothly than the other lines in the poem. I'm going to stop here for now. I'm sorry for your loss. I just lost two loved ones a few days myself and the pain and feelings that it still isn't real is indescribable. This touched me because the message was deep and touching. Great poem.

This poem, I Miss You, is a lovely apostrophe poem for a beautiful spirit who has departed. Loss of loved one's is always devastating, especially when they are taken when they were still in their power years.
