Congratulations on a well-earned win. This is exemplary -- ten words that teach and inspire, beautifully presented. I am not at all surprised this one's a winner. You said so much in just ten words!!!

The love of God is central to all things. Where would we be without it? Well said and illustrated in ten words. Sending you my best today as always and blessings abundant, dear Portia. Congratulations on your win!

This poem is contest compliant. It is a simple statement with a powerful message. What would life be like without love? There is an abundance of perverted lust. But unconditional love is a precious gift from our Father.
The poem has an attractive appearance supportive of the theme.
Success at the booths!

That is so true! We should show love whether we feel like it or not. Jesus said to even love our enemies and He modeled it for us, too, as He died for us when we were still in enmity with the Lord's law.
Best wishes in the contest!

Yes it does - but isn't it hard to follow in today's challenging world.
Most people have never heard of 'turning the other cheek' other than as 'just an old saying'.
Learning to love those who have hurt us time and time again does not make for an easy walk - but It is Christ's way, and if we are His we need to learn it.
I enjoyed reading this.
Warmly,
Juliette
