Jill,
This contest entry deserved to be on the podium. It is a cute idea you have penned. I have not (yet) observed my neighbors following this protocol. Of course, I don't live in a tony neighborhood. So the same rules don't apply. LOL
Mark
P.S. For future FS posts, consider raising the font size of your entries. IMHO it adds a punch to the overall presentation. Whether you decide to center the text lines or not, it is your poetic choice.

Thanks, Mark, for your review. I appreciate your comments. In my neighborhood, some of us clean up after our dogs and some do not. Thank you also for the font advice. I agree that the larger font usually works better.

This literally made me laugh out loud and the picture is so perfect!! Carrying those bags does indeed suck which is probably why I have cats! Nice piece! Good luck in the contest!

Haha... I know what you mean. It's good to see that you conscientiously pick up after your dog. Your poem highlights why so many people choose to fling the bag of dog poop into the nearest bushes. If only it matched their shoes!

Thanks for your review. Cleaning up after a dog can be a chore but it's the having to walk around with the bag that gets me! I appreciate your comments.

OMG this is so bad it's good. Your kireji is as brilliant as the rest is gross. There's going to be stiff competition in this contest. Seems there's no end to disgusting things. Best of luck.

I laughed out loud a this picture and poem. It's a duty I also have and my granddaughter thinks I should have bought a rainbow of colors instead of just blue. Well done.
