Amen! This is so true! Reading actual books is so comforting! Ever since I was a child, I loved the worlds books (not the movie !) Took me to. The written word can make an impact, as your 575 syllable poem has done here. Good luck!

So true! What a great thing to learn from books! With the pandemic lockdowns many libraries were closed. Thankfully we live in a time when books and movies can be downloaded from library websites.

This poem delivers an excellent message. So many self-made people started as readers, learning about worlds beyond their own, and studying subject matter not offered in schools. If one can read, and maintain commitment to a goal, it can be achieved. Reading is the doorway to a successful life.
