This is really a good one, June. Those aphids on the run made me smile, because they are quite the yummy snack for a ladybug.
Excellent haiku, and fine contribution to the club.

June,
If it was not already summer today, this would be a great reminder of nature in your month name! Lots of nice entries in Gypsy's club contest.
Have not composed one to be considered.

Loved the photo and your poem. Thank goodness for Lady Bugs. Behind every critter that chews on our beautiful plants, another predator follows the path to their next meal!

I love the simplicity and beauty of this presentation. Your picture is a beauty and your words tell the life of a ladybug pretty precisely. It is well done and I enjoyed it.

I have not seen any ladybugs this spring. Your haiku paints a scenic picture of one "basking" on the petals of a flower. I especially like your use of rhyme. Rod

My pleasure.

It's good to have a few beneficial insects in the garden to combat the nasties. So much better than insecticides. Your little ladybird has earned her rest in the sunshine! Your haiku speaks of a natural balance in nature.

I enjoyed your fun haiku that has a serious message with it, June. Good job with its style. The picture is supportive, though your words paint their own picture. I like how you included two kind of insects in one haiku, the use of rhyme is good, and your overall presentation is, too.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan
