Donuts and pizza? Yes! Other people foods? Maybe not. After all, he's a cat. He has to keep you guessing. Wonder where his natural curiosity will lead him next. This piece is entertaining and very enjoyable. Makes me think of our "Mama Kitty" when I was a kid--so named because she had a litter every time it was biologically possible. She lived to be 13. We loved her so.

I know you loved her very much. I can see how she got her name. I have that problem with the strays that I feed outside. There's no telling what PC will come with next. He's full of surprises. Thank you for a lovely review.

If your cat were a female, I'd have some theories about his sudden food tastes. Like senior citizens, he thinks he's entitled. That is so funny about the shampoo and facial. He's very fastidious. My cats sometimes groom one another, but brushing's all they get from me. PC sounds like such a fun cat. I love reading about him. judi

Thank you. I'm glad you like to hear about him. He went to the vet today. He's been losing weight, almost a pound in the last 5-6 wks. A lot of a cat. I'm worried about him. Please say a little prayer for him.

Oh, the poor little guy. One of my cats started throwing up frequently and losing weight, so I know it's a sign of trouble. Those little guys don't weigh that much anyway. I'll certainly say a prayer for him. We need our PC. judi

Thank you so much. I'm so sorry you lost Dickens. I know how that feels. Over the years, I've lost several, but never forgot them. I still miss them all.

That was a lovely story, dear SATP. Every time I read one I want to dash out and get another two cats, but then I see the photo of Millsie and Spikey looking at me and can't do it. I know it's stupid, and as I said to Graham, we really should think seriously about getting two because there is going to come a time when one of us will be left on our own. Cats are such good company, I know you think so too because of the stories you write about PC. I loved this one. I don't know another cat that likes his face washed and his ears cleaned out! What with that and the pizzas and doughnuts ... you have a very unusual cat!! But he is so cute. Now go and buy him some more! Lol, :)) Warm hugs and loads of love! Sandra xxxxx

Thank you for a wonderful review. He just returned from his bi-weekly antibiotic shot, and his weight is down. He's lost almost a pound in six weeks. That is alarming. I have to wait until Monday to get results of his blood work. I'm really worried. I'm starting a baby food (meat) in addition to his regular food. Got to get that weight up. He only weight about 9 lbs. to begin with.

As an older woman, I understand PC perfectly. We get a few years on us and who cares about cholesterol or fat - hand out those doughnuts, Mama... My caregiver always brings me back a chocolate doughnut from the store! Sweet, fun, and a real upper for the day!!

I think the picture of PC was great, probably because he doesn't want you to catch his picture, lol. Perhaps he is developing new tastes in his senior years. I wouldn't try holding these new delights ransom, cats can get nasty when they are angry, lol. Great job and very much enjoyed. Thank you for the memories.

What a lovely story. He's probably thinking he may as well really enjoy life to the full in his old age, thinking ""It's now or never!". So precious. (My dog's most favourite meal ever was a Junior Burger from McDonald's!! Burger meat and cheese together! Wow.)

Black cats don't photograph well all you seem to get is a silhouette. I can't explain the doughnuts but I reckon it's the cheese that is attracting him to the pizza. I read somewhere that most cats love cheese.
