So everything has come to a head, Joesph is confessing everything he's done, all the tim he murdered someone, every bit of of horror that has come from being the monster that inhabits, he considers that he also gave consent to the monster to use him. But that displays the love of Christ fo us, that even though we are the antithesis of God, He still has a deep, abiding love for us. Beautifully written dear Shana, an excellent post. Blessings Roy

Thank you so much, Roy :)
This was a hard scene for me to write. I knew Carrie would finally have to find out about Joseph's secret and all the bad things the Shadow has pushed him to do. But for the story to move on, it had to be done. Although it seems sad, things will lighten up. God has protected Carrie all this time for a reason. She has a purpose and it involves saving Joseph.
Thanks again my friend for your support. You make a difference.
Always your fan,
Shana :)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Why. Are. You. Doing. This. To. Me. SHANA! You can't just leave me hanging like that! Joseph and Carrie belong together, and this ANNOYING, STUPID, EVIL Shadow is MESSING IT ALL UP! (Let me calm down for a moment, lol)
I was so wishing that Carrie would call her Uncle Frank and tell him so that the Covenant can help Joseph and get rid of that entity. And at first, I thought she'd just accept him. I mean, she still loves him... right?
I can't with this. Please post soon! I have to know what happens.

AJ, you crack me up. Lol! No worries... remember... fairytale ending. :)
Carrie and Joseph were brought together for a reason. When her parents died years ago, she was mysteriously unscathed by the car accident. In the end, you will find out why.
Carrie doesn't know anything about the Breedline Covenant... yet.
Thanks for the fantastic review and motivating words. I appreciate you.
Hugs,
Shana:)

LOL. I'm glad I do! You're welcome! Right fairytale ending: Happily, Ever After... but it seems so far away. That must've happened in the early chapters because I don't think I reviewed that one. I know Carrie doesn't know about them, but her uncle does. He'd tell them about Joseph. Ugh! The anticipation is killing me!! LOL.

This is extremely well written. You did a great job of showing the conflict the surprises, the pain. The reader could easily visualize the scene and understand Carrie's every reaction. You make us feel for both of them and the torment they are going through.
Great work.

Wow! Thank you, lancellot :)
Your kind words made my day! I'm so thrilled you enjoyed this. I was hoping I described Joseph and Carrie's heartfelt emotions enough where the reader could feel their pain. A few words of encouragement really makes a difference. I appreciate this!
Sincerely,
Shana :)
