Great entry for the contest using those words. Rhyming is great, verses flow freely and your words proclaim a great message. The Lord is always there for us and in every storm of life we can trust Him to guide us and protect us.

Six stars! Bravo!!! This poem is so descriptive and lovely. The imagery you used is second to none. You've done well here and should be proud! Also love the picture you used

you did a good job of using the words, your picture goes very well with your theme, and your poem is quite pleasant in the way it offers a lesson about much more than just the sea turned fearful. Prayer does help us through all life's troubles.

I've never acquired a taste for tea,
in my pathetic and predictable nonproductive life as a nonpaid slave,
I've never been allowed to acquire anything,
however, I take much comfort in knowing that the Sun will rise every morning,
He quiets the hungry tummies with water to ease the pain of starvation,
as the waves of their undeserved persecution tosses them in every direction,
like the peaceful breeze that momentarily eases their suffering,
and then the Sun will rise again the next morning

Dear author,
This lovely, softly-rhyming poem is certainly beautiful. It's very inspirational. I love how when we depend on the Lord, he sees us through even the most threatening storms.
Good luck in the contest!

Love the flow and beautiful presentation! I also love the spirituality of this peice. Even someone who is not a devout Christian can relate to turning to God in times of trouble

The flow is more like a free-write with some end rhymes and I enjoyed the sentiments and the suspense of a rocky ride on this boat, a fine write, love Dolly x

To accept that which you cannot control is not a skill every person has. Though we must try to accept that we sometimes have to sit and go along for the ride hoping and praying for the best.
