The worst part of hateful acts is the lack of kindness. If you offer food to someone who is obviously hungry, care for someone who is hurting, or maybe even direction to someone who is lost. If you do any of these things then you are performing acts of kindness. Persons who perform acts of kindness are acting on God's behalf, and there is no finer act that can be performed.

Thank you for your perceptive comments and the wisdom that is from above. It's wonderful to be a channel of God's love to others, as you always seem to end up with more than you gave away.

Hello, Gudbjorg ~
I haven't read for you before but am going to 'fan' you so I don't miss other posts. I will, of course, but not for lack of trying. :)
I enjoyed this poem very much and agree - kindness is for the benefit of all who are around it.
It was a lovely work and I appreciate you sharing. :)
Blessings,
Deb

Proof positive that wisdom and insight can be garnered in a single poetic stanza... The muse descended and you've taken up the call with a charming and oh so wise four lined bit of grace here! Lovely.

Thank you for your review. I don't take credit for any wisdom. I just write what flows through my mind and hope it's a blessing to others.

To me what comes through in this simple image is that kindness and love are blessings from God, much like the rain. It might be a little better if you had thrown in an image of flowers coming up after the winter, something like that, a poetic image to color up the poem a bit. Nice echoing effects in the couplet form. estory

Thank you for your review and counsel. I, too, feel kindness and love pour down on us from a loving Father and the words I write are what come into my mind. I pray they're a blessing!

I love this write - it is something I believe in - kindness is sweet and soothing - it can defuse angry situations and when practiced as a lifestyle, reaps harvests of good things. Very nice and well-written as well!

While I think this is a beautiful poem, keys to me sound hard and metallic. Maybe kisses, petals or drops? And instead of coming, maybe floating or streaming? Just a thought.

This is a very interesting point as there are so many variations of how we see things but unitedly they've power to open doors. Thank you for your review and input.

Your ultra-concise poem is lovely and thoughtful. Observing beautiful scenes in nature, the continuity and resourcefulness of nature, can serve to calm us and remind us that hope and peace are possible

Very short, sweet poem...right from the heart. We daily ask The Father to bring heaven on earth and your poem appears to sprinkle some of that heaven here. Great job.

A succinct, yet meaningful piece, that conveys an upbeat and positive theme and tone.

Well presented, the chosen background color advances the positivity.
