I loved the chapter though coming to it late. Imagine women wearing buckskin for a month and one not wearing any underneath. That had to be irritating. And the fight between Mightybeaver, Meeker, and Lowry (who lost his hand) was exciting and realistic. Great chapter.

FanStory fantastic chapter, Earl. I miss this series and hope to see Doo and the gang more regular-like. The story flows nicely in authentic southern-speak. One small nit.

A period needed after [Doo thought.]

I hope this is helpful. Sending you my best today as always

That little peek cost them boys dearly and, I'm suspecting it wasn't worth the trouble. But like my daddy once said, "Don't ever pull anything on anybody that you can't eat or stick up your butt. It could be painful." Thanks for sharing.

Yikes! I'm so glad that Mighty Beaver was on guard while Janie and Roseanna were bathing. They should have let people know that they were off to do that. Still, it sounds like more than Lowry got injured. Hope Mighty Beaver is okay. Dramatic post, Earl with a thoughtful beginning about potential regrets.

That was great. The description of the fight was really good and thorough. I totally love that. The last part got a good chuckle from me.

I noticed one error for your review, as follows:

The two young woman approached the bank of the creek at a bend which was partially secluded by bushes. They stepped behind some blackberry bushes and quickly shucked off the buckskins they'd been wearing for the past month.
- "woman" should be "women"

Great part of the story! Thanks for sharing.

Very well done. He is such a great warrior. The ending is such a savage and vicious end. You are such a great author and poet! Overall great chapter!

I did enjoy your story, Earl. :) You write a very good western. Your pen has me on the edge of my seat. I would like to make a suggestion on grouping a couple of sentences they threw me off for a minute. "Mighty Beaver had a thought. When Lowry backed off a step, he dropped the knife in his right hand and juggled the tomahawk from his left to his right hand.

It was that moment Lowry made a thrust at his stomach. He avoided the knife, then brought his tomahawk down and cleaved Lowry's hand off right above the joint."

I believe they go together, but you are the writer. :) Thanks for sharing.

The mighty warrior doesn't seem to have been distracted by the nude girls!:) Interesting story with a brutal ending. Yes. I did get lost with the usage of the local English dialogue, but you more than made up in he action sequences. Thanks for sharing!

Two bucks peeping Tomming on the the two naked girls, Janie and Roseanne, Jake Lowry and Ralf Meeker are caught by Mighty Beaver, they draw knives to fight, not realising they are outclassed by the Indian, He dispatches both of them, removing Lowry's hand in the process, they may not conform an armed Indian Again. Well done Earl, good episode, blessings Roy

Very well done, Earl. Mighty Beaver is not a force to be reckoned with. He is a skilled warrior and as far from being a savage as you can get. The two didn't stand a chance when they decided to fight him. Nancy:)
