another good one! Great dialogue and the kiddo is a cutie! Drama is so funny of a name for Z. Also, I appreciate that you don't post chapters that are 74 pages long. I can enjoy your writing and don't have to spend three hours reading it.

If I may, I saw a couple typos as follows:
I kicked off my shoes in the foyer and tippy-toed into the kitchen. The only light was the glow of Biggie's computer screen. I thought better of gathering ingredients and rattling ice cubes for a much need martini and
* much needed


I took another sip and another a puff.
* take out the word "a" before "puff."

Thanks much. I?m the instant breakfast girl. I have a difficult time reading long chapters and lengthy details. I kind of cut my teeth on Flash fiction. Less is more. Thanks for catching my errors.. Lin

I imagine ZeeZee is supposed to be thick skinned and tough with a name like Drama, but when it comes to little Trevor, she's nothing but putty...though beer and cigarettes are a bit much to be sharing with the sweet kid... but the singing... awesome! Enjoyed the read. Smiles, Carol
