Excellent use of the required words, and a great story to tell as well. It flows smoothly without sounding forced, or written around those words.
Besides, I can commiserate. I get it, but I don't have your willpower yet. Best of luck on the diet and the contest.

I love your rhyming scheme. I was able to relate, and chuckle while reading this. I'm motivated to get my butt up and do something about the weight I want to lose! If this is a true story, outstanding job throwing out those donuts!

Great use of all the suggested words in this poem about dieting. Good rhyming. There are so many diets, but just plain healthy eating, fruits and vegetables is the best way to go. I like the verse that shows why you are motivated to lose weight:
"No motivation to get up and go,
I thought of my family, how I love them so.
How each moment with them is precious and dear,
how all my health worries cause them lots of fear."
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
