Haha, the yokes on him! He didn't see your way out coming, I gather, so you took him by surprise and had him take the family out for breakfast at McDonald's. This was a fun and humorous Mother's Day story, and I'll bet, that though it says fiction, it was, as you say, based on a true story. Thanks for sharing this funny story.

I love it. It seems children want to give Mothers breakfast in bed, when it is the last thing we would want. I love the way the mother handled this special breakfast and turned the tables on her husband. Very well done.

This is a very good story. Them kids are so innocent. Good thing daddy was there to help you out. I couldn't had eaten a raw egg. I knew someone in my time who loved them. Sucked them right out of the shell. You did a great job. You also got out of a bad situation and a sly way. Good job.

Me too! And his efforts at cooking were worse than my little boys. thanks but no thanks... Raw eggs were a bit too much. I've eaten burnt toast and extremely mushy mashed potatoes. Even a hamburger that wasn't fully cooked, but raw eggs weren't possible. Smiles, Carol
