Today is a good example of Spring?s capriciousness. It?s only 40 and the normal temp is 68. Many thanks for your review.

Lol! I like your analogy of a crazed kitten chasing shadows for the behavior of spring. It certainly is a most capricious season. I like your choice of "kitten" as our cat doesn't quite do those motions anymore. Best wishes in the contest!

Until I read your poem, I never thought of it that way...but you are so right. One day it's 80 degrees and then we have snow and then it's warm again. I can picture the kitty jumping around back and forth... Perfect. Smiles, Carol

I love the kitten simile, it is very clever. Since this is not a Haiku it might have been better with a picture of a cat, but that's hard to say. It's a personal thing. Best of luck in the contest.

This is excellent imagery. Much like Sandburg and the fog rolling in on little cat feet. A good writer can say a lot in a few words. You did that. I think it's a talent that not everyone can possess, but you have it. Keep writing!
