This speaks so much to me. It is not just animals that blend into the background, we humans do it as well. Depending on the history of the reader they can feel that uneasiness when no one noticed them or they can be the ones who hid in the background to hid who they really were.

Dear Mystery Writer,
This is REALLY weird. hahahaha Yesterday, I was surfing for a certain image and a certain bit of info and came across an image of some rattlesnakes (3) together - oh, fiddle! - I can't remember what they were against. Rocks, maybe? But you couldn't see ANY of them.
This image you've chosen is a wonderful example of the ability God gave some critters to fade out into their surroundings as a protective measure - well, or as an aid to hunting, too, I guess, huh?
This was fun. I thought the presentation was really well done - great color choices and a nice size font, too. (THANK YOU!) The syllables are all just right and this should be a great entry in the contest. Good luck!

The poems meets the rules of the contest with a perfect photo that helped to convey the message in the poem. Could be a way the creature adapts to her environment and hides away from predators. Nice piece! Thanks for sharing.

Amazing picture of that owl hidden in the tree. Your words accurately describe it. It is wonderful how the Creator provided all species with some means of protection from their enemies.
