Here-here! I so agree! LOT'S of things to work on...enough that we ought not be working against one another, but turning as one and facing our country's needs head on! Saving our planet, our lives from the pandemic, racial and other divide is not a democrat or republican thing... It surely out to be ALL of us pulling together!--Karenina

Good evening, yes, it's astounding how many urgent issues we are facing as a country these days. Everything seems to be a jumbled mess. I certainly hope we can sort it all out sooner rather than later.

It seems the US has come to a crossroads in its present, I suppose that applies to a myriad of places too. The political scene has taken a hit, with most being disappointed and dismayed. As usual a very fine poem my friend, blessings Roy

I agree. We need to take back what has been lost to big gov't and the way some people act trying to destroy what we hold dear. You did a great job with your poem. Everything you mentioned is something that needs attention NOW. You are right about getting our act together to end this downward spiral.

You are right, our democracy and our country is in danger and we must come together. The Republicans of Trump don't want to pass anything but they take credit of all the bills President Biden is passing to help the american people.

These abab quatrains tells us of the problems we have to overcome today.
We have to much greed, political infighting and racial violence. We also need to take better care of our world. It seems some are at least trying to do some of this.
