I enjoyed reading your contest entry. I agree I choose to live happily ever after. I think we should all choose that and not to allow Coronella or our government to force us to live in fear. Good luck with the contest.

I'm pretty sure we are going to get through this. We've been through so many pandemics and epidemics over the years; the 1918 flu, small pox, yellow fever, measles, polio, the black plague...if we can get through those, which were much worse than this, we can get through this. New York is talking about opening up 100% by July 1. California same thing. Cruises start in July. Europe said as long as you are vaccinated, you can travel. The next thing we are going to deal with is shortages and inflation. estory

Oh, fear is so easy and faith so hard! But you're right, of course. Where's that verse that says 'perfect love casts out fear'? James, maybe. And, of course, we don't have perfect love but our God does. So He casts out fear. It's a lesson I've struggled with all my life and you summed it up in a dribble fiction! lol. Well done!
Blessings and hugs, my friend,
Deb

Iza, it's nice to see that you have chosen "to live happily ever after" Coronella. That's the only thing we can do, but it isn't often easy. You've summed up these feelings well in the piece of Dribble Flash Fiction. Good luck in the contest.

This is an interesting dribble tale. I have trouble understanding how a sacrifice to Covid-19 will lead to you living happily ever after, but I am willing to suspend my doubts.

Iza, I think you have a great idea there. I think that finger wave should pertain to the entire virus and what it has done to upset so many lives with death and worse. Bless you. Go get em. Bob

Good morning, Iza. A nicely written entry for the dribble flash contest. I believe that so many have finally come to terms with the pandemic and have placed their faith in God and not fear. Well said. Smiles, Carol

This Dribble Flash Fiction contest entry speaks living with faith in God, as the writer chooses to live fearlessly or happily taking the middle finger Coronella by not fearing the evil keeping faith in God, saluting the sun everyday, with God blessings; well said, well done, thanks for sharing this. Short and to the point--I'm with you--I defied the Evil Queen from day one--gathered with friends that were willing to, sans masking, reckless--yes--but better a risk than certain depression.
