I like the way Jena has learnt not to trust anyone, particularly those that are brazen to kidnap her for gain, the Allen twins are known to the detectives. But it would be nice to see a spark of humanity in the sisters. Yes, Jena doesn't trust too easily, especially after everything she's been through. Thank goodness she has Nicolas and the Breedline on her side, plus the detectives. Things will soon get heated when Dr. Michaels is confronted by those who seek justice.

What a wonderful chapter. It appears that Jena has escaped, though I do wonder about the woman who helped her. You ended on a happy note, yet with enough to fill one's mind that they wait with anticipation for the next posting. The pictures sum up this chapter well.

This one was fun to write. I love adding some banter between characters. Jena reminds me of myself in many ways. I guess that is why I enjoy writing about her. She's been through a lot and doesn't trust just anyone. I think things will heat up when Dr. Michaels finds himself confronted by those who seek justice. He better pray it's not Jena when she is able to shift again.

I was hoping readers would find humor in this chapter. I had fun with the banter between Jena and Kian. She reminds me of myself as I write her scenes, so it's fun to create new adventures for her. And I think she's about had it with Dr. Michaels and his underhanded bounty hunters.

Glad you enjoyed. And never apologize for not reading my posts. I wish I had time to read everyone's creative writing here more. I work so many hours and barely have enough time to write. Maybe some day I can retire and finally be free. LOL! :)

This book reminded me of the book Artemis Fowl which also has been made into a movie. I find the cooperation between human detectives and Breedline species is very interesting. Then there is always figures like Jena McCain. I'm glad that she is getting better.

Glad you enjoyed the chapter. So thrilled to hear you like the combination of the supernatural working with humanity. At first, when I put the two together, it was a bit fascinating with the concept of introducing humans and another species, especially those who can shift into wolves. It's fun to create a whole new world and make believe the good guys win in the end.
