You have an interesting story and write dialogue very well. This is the first part I've read of your book so I suspect there are a few things here I don't understand. I did like the way you developed your characters. One thing I did note is that In the second sentence you used the phrase "for the first time" twice. Otherwise you have done a good job of proofreading your work. best of luck with this.
