Hi Lin. It's excellent writing and there is much I can learn from this. Sentences which are short, concise and to the point. I tend to be too verbiage. I've learned to eliminate unnecessary words, but still find my sentences too long. I hate when a man call a woman hysterical. Most women are not and it's a sign of the man being inferior. End of.
Looking forward to what's next. Ulla:)))

Hi dear writer friend. I am convinced that if we stick with it...continue to work to improve our voice...it eventually happens. I write the first draft. Then a day later, after I live the scene in my mind a few times, I go back and try to craft each sentence. It?s painful. And tedious. And I?m never sure if I make the right changes or not! I try to turn an ordinary sentence into a scene...a visual with words. Each sentence must add something of value. If not, I rewrite or discard. Thanks for reading and always the reassuring words. This is good advise. I will apply that in my future writing. I'm just about to finish writing my first book, and then comes the editing, where I will keep your words in mind. :)))
