This is a fear for some. There will always be a need to build and repair computers. Maybe their will be a choice to let the computer have time off so you can do some work. Maybe there will be more who will use the time to volunteer.

While I am for advanced technology, I have to agree with your writing that it can go too far. We need human contact and the very basic human need of feeling productive.

Excellent poem! It started rather benign but as it went on it became more intense and that served its purpose because by the end of the poem I was a bit concerned and maybe even a little frightened. The photograph you chose for your poem is perfect.
