Days like that, when everything is magic and you are one with the universe, few and far between, but that is why they are so special.
To try and bring natural beauty closer, I have, for the past 10 years, slowly cultivated and planted a large back yard so that there is something blooming from Spring to late Fall. A tall, broad willow tree shades a portion, it's trunk surrounded by small logs that hold a shrub and flower garden. A leaning, leaking antique fountain/bird bath was restored, Doves and finches come to drink, Robins joyfully throw water, taking a bath.
A restored, two tier fountain tinkles, reminiscent of a mountain stream.
Still a work in progress, but a place of therapy and renewal.

I missed this one dearest author, and am I least bit surprised, such wonder in its imagery, such softness in its virtues, such direction in its cause, and such beauty within its breath...need I say more!
Exquisite, simply exquisite.
My best Ronni.

Dear RG
Thanks for such grand affirmations and appreciations as only
you can express them in your incomparable way! You say
so much and more each time, which I can never fully thank
you for as illustriously or comparably, but no less gratefully!
Thanks again...for all you are in fan and friend...Incredible!
Gratefully always, Ronni

Wonderful Miss Ronni.
And you know I love that beautiful
picture!
I've often done this, sometimes just
sitting on my porch steps, taking everything
in. Amazing what you'll notice when you decide
to look.
I love times like this!
Such an uplifting poem!
Blessings...

I love this narrative piece with its beautiful scenic descriptions and lovely word choices throughout. I love your phrase, "one happenstance day" which you use twice for added emphasis that I love a lot. My favorite line, though I have many is, "I nodded to a sweetly smiling, flirting daisy..." That is creative and clever as can be. The artwork is lovely as well. This is well written and an excellent example of free verse in poetry.
Uplifting and positive in nature, I find nothing to change or add to this piece.
Take care and be well,
Jesse

Hello dear Ronnie,
Such a wonderful journey with your walk. Way too often we neglect to take the time to gaze at the wonders of the lord. Your poem takes us there and was a delight as usual my friend. God bless

Ronni,
"Irrepressible Gift of the Divine" Wow! Yes! What a delight to go on this magical walk with you. Your words wind down the page with such grace and grand imagery. I loved all of your extra descriptive words that make it so very clear what you wanted to express, while being so very enchanting. at the same time.
"of the kaleidoscope landscape atop a wooded hill
reverently sighing on bended knee majestically
magnificent panoramic scope above and below"
Wow! "Kaleidoscope landscape" & your wonderful metaphor, alliteration "panoramic scope" Unique also! All in just those three lines alone. Beautiful writing friend.
Gee, I went on a walk today...I saw all kinds of wildlife. Even Bananas in bloom. Squirrels, rabbits, doves, blue jay, ducks, dogs, cat, then...talk about dogs...A big black standard poodle with a really fancy doo. A hound with half his legs in a puddle type of water. Butterflies...& a Monarch butterfly cocoon...(with a sign by it saying Please do not disturb.) I'm saying all that to say that I was thinking how could I write a poem about it? I figured I could not...It surely would fall so very far from this masterpiece.
Very Impacting ending as well, Dear Ronni. You have me "briskly swaying." I do find the font a bit small - color contrast difficult to read.
Love this!

Hi dear Anna,
Oh how do I thank you for such grand accolades?
If only I could count the ways.....
alas, I surely cannot, for I know not where to begin. You sweep
such an amazing swoop of phrase specific praises that I am
truly amazed and awed, always beyond expressions meriting
them. Seriously.
Nonetheless, glad you enjoyed and shared so generously and
graciously of your comments so comprehensively dear. With
my sincerest appreciations! Many times over! And too, thanks
for the extra twinkling star...wow...
Take care, stay safe and hop you have a gorgeous week win
sunshine and smiles abiding within and around you.
Love, blessings, Ronni

What I find most wonderful and enchanting about this poem is actually an ordinary day but that the writer is awakened to the beauty and the smallest details of nature around her.
You bring your reader along the path with you in your descriptions.
Thank you for the journey.
Regards,
Mary

This free verse poem describes some delicious experiences when out walking. Reading on I realised I was being overwhelmed by a plethora of unnecessary adverbs that did little to strengthen the verbs they described. On a computer, delete them all, and ask yourself whether you believe the poem is weakened by their absence.
The next stage is to ask yourself if there is a stronger verb that does not need an adverb.
You can play the same game with adjectives if you like.
You might find the result surprising.

Thank you for your specific comments. This was an excerpt post from my personal 'Letters & Diary" category list. If it were in any other category or genre, your review would indeed most
rightfully, comprehensively apply. I thank you for your time
and helpfulness.

It's wonderful to be able to enjoy the simple things that nature provides. Too often in this busy world people lose sight of the natural beauty around us. You captured it wonderfully. Well done.

Thank you Tom, for your very perceptive thoughts and comments.
Indeed we often do not have to go to those idolized far away
places and get aways some are closer to home and overlooked
until one day you discover them through sheer happenstance
or coincidence. So pleased you enjoyed and shared. Hope you
find some memorable days to write about too.
Take care, best wishes, Ronni
