I Can Make You Laugh

I had a feeling that the word 'sign' meant sign language, Carol. You did a good job with this story. The jokes are funny, the presentation and progression from start to finish works well to move the story ahead, and the message is clear.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

First off, I'm stealing your jokes to use on my six year old.
Your story was hard to read because by the second joke I was laughing too much. Not so much at the joke but this was the point when I realized the children were deaf. I had a deaf pen pal in grade school and also learned to sign. At one point when meeting them, I was signing and whets was trying to remember something I scratched my head. I received the same confused reaction. This was too funny not to get a six!

How wonderful of you! I had a real bad day at the dr office and I needed to laugh... this was the final outcome. I so appreciate your kindness. And I loved your add-in to the story. Smiles to you - Carol
The stars definitely brightened my day! Thank you!

Wellllll, I think the teacher should have told him, of course, however -
that is a cute story of a lesson learned - the hard (and unnecessary) way.
Hope you know that I mean if this were an actual event, those would be my feelings, but in your story, "Please sign" is a clever, misleading "hook". Very good. (and I loved the cookie joke :)

I, too, would be upset if it was real life and she hadn't prepared him for the class, but for the silly story it worked fine. Thank you so much, Katherine, for reading and reviewing. I appreciate your kindness. Smiles to you - Carol

A tough crowd indeed. I must be given to humor because I was laughing my head off! A great short and fun end to my reviewing day. Sending you my best today as always, dear Carol,

Oh, Sally, I am thrilled I had you laughing and enjoying the silly story. I've had a rough day and I needed a bit of humor myself before getting back to my other story. Smiles and hugs as always - Carol
