This poem, A Moment in Time, presented in five ABBA quatrains, seems to mourn the time as it flies by and notes that the timeless destination is built on our expectations of love as we understand it here.

This is a profound and serious poem you have written here. We have just so much time here, and yes, the joy of heaven will always be in our eyes.
At the beginning of the poem, it feels like you are speaking to the Universe or God, hoping for the change we have caused our own free will.
It is very intense and enlightening.
Best of luck always,
Marie

Your words are so profound and so very true, Jose. They captured the truth of not only what we could be but also what we have become. With hope, love and prayer we can reverse what has been done. You did a great job with this.

There are moments in time that we remember when time seems to sand still, stunning moments that remain in our memory as vivid as if they happened yesterday, I can identify with these words, love Dolly x

This is clearly a deep poem. You care abou t hour words and how they fit together. I don't get how you are using all the pronouns. You seem to be speaking about me but you don't know me or anything about me. So I'm not sur w
How th use of "you" and "we" is justified.

Rindy, I'm glad you brought that up. I'm talking with God and with you at the same time. If you can feel the words reflect on your soul I guess God loves you and wants you to see. :)

That's a sobering time-is-running-out poem. Part of it reads (to me) like it's addressed to God as His heart must be pained by all that we do on earth. The ending stanza addresses the reader and exhorts to live well with love and gratitude...while we still have time!
