Excellent

Nicely crafted piece. Nice imagery and a terrifying thought of being trapped in the heart of paradise with no hope of touching it. The double use of "bar" early on and in such close proximity to each other was a distraction for me for some reason and, though I can only blame myself, the photo made me think of cowboys and disjointed me at first when I started reading.

Well done, great short tale to fit the challenge.

Thanks for the helpful review, yeah bar bar. I had this little story about that crumbling prison in my head for awhile, but then just blanked out, haha. even the artwork wasn't quite right.
The coral rock prison in Zanzibar was so haunting, it was just one wall with the bars, looking out onto the most beautiful seascape, sigh.
