Clever and not so vacant after all. I wonder how often people have sat to write something and having nothing to write about, write about nothing. To present so common a theme in a new way with vacant is an accomplishment. Well done

An enjoyable poem to read. It sounds like me when I'm trying to think of something to write about, but the words just won't come. You think deep down and just start to write, no destination in mind. Then looking down you see the page filled in line after line. You found something to write about while you were thinking. Great job!

Very clever. I like it a lot. My favorite stanza:
Gray matter seems inert within this shell;
it nests and rests as if a barren hen;
I must present a vacant villanelle.
