Poet,

This is really a very well written children's Easter Poem you have composed. Adorable ! I like all of the super imagery within it. I
especially like the strong emphasis of Jesus being the reason
for that holiday.

"Many, many years ago,
God gave to us, His Son,
So we would be forgiven
For bad things we have done.

Jesus died upon the cross,
They placed Him in a cave.
And by this mighty sacrifice
You and I were saved."

The gospel message in those two stanzas
that flow so well and with nice rhymes as well.

You also have some other colorful stanzas with
fun and/or nature's blooming buds and warmth/sunshine.

Perfect ending!

"And all because of Jesus and
God's great sacrifice."

Although typically I'm not a great fan of rhyme...Your rhymed
entry for children works so well and has the best message of
all.

I enjoyed it very much,

Anna

Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

This is a great poem for the contest. You teach children the true reason for the celebration of Easter, but you let them know the meanings in the fun stuff of Easter and how they are part of the story too.
