Oh, how skillfully you worked in that poem within a poem. It makes me think of cryptic writing that soldiers used to (or maybe still do) use to let their loved ones know where they are or how things are. I love it!

I do believe we need to rely on God more than every right now. Horrible things are happening all over and COVID is a minor part of it. I will leave it at that. Thank you for sharing.

I completely understand. The vaccines were supposed to allow more freedom, but no, it has not changed. Actually in some places and within companies and air travel, it has become worse. If masks and vaccines worked, then they would work.
Here in Florida, our numbers are down. Church is open and school is open. (There is a county by county mask mandate depending on the population.) Our governor is wonderful and just announced he would not force vaccines. (I can't have a vaccine, so it was an ongoing concern.)
This forced vaccination is starting to look like the yellow star and papers worn about the neck in WW2; something far more nefarious. Tracking? Looks more and more like forced allegiance to the coming Antichrist, and by the looks of things, it's not far off. I'm telling everyone I know to draw close to the Lord and don't waste a day. Love and be loved. You can gathered in small groups, can't you? We do, and see our grandchildren regularly.
I want to go out of this world truly living. Dang it, I'm going to!!

Sally: I agree that the Second Coming is soon, and very soon. I intend to live until I die - not die while living. I know you know what I mean. Thanks for all your insights. It's a shame we don't live near each other. I believe we would make great friends. jan
