Grabbing. Intense. I really like the idea of keeping a memory box. I turn 81 tomorrow. Needless to say mine is over-flowing and I am still making new memories. I look forward to your growing and sharing.

I enjoyed the rock beat rhythm of this poem very much. It reminded me of a rock opera. I hope when the poem is continued it will reverberate like the first part of the poem. The words are raw and hiding a potential existential ambiance. Although the poem is utterly expressive of present day trauma associated with the writer's eyesight it also cries out underneath and those cries reflect the questions of "What is my purpose?" "What is Life?" "Why do I exist?" The darkness and the light woven together was interesting and unique. Perhaps a little angry or sarcastic. This is a great poem and created a lot of images and sounds in my mind. Mind you, this is just my interpretation and someone else may see and feel something differently. I hope to be able to read the rest of this poem and other work by this author. Excellent work!
