Wow...great mental image is created in this haiku. The poem is nicely packaged with an image that mirrors the words of the piece. Thanks for sharing your work.

What an amazing photo, I always enjoyed watching David Attenborough's nature programs. Your poem goes with it so well, I can almost hear the buzzing and humming, lol. Loved this one, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Thirsting for harmony with great imagery. The unexpected company doesn't skip a beat but adds to the melody that has been buzzing along
great fun

Comment from Gloria ....
What an amazing photograph. To see them as musicians is just perfect, and sharing in some nectar of the gods too!
Great job with this fine poem, Debra. :)

Debra,
This is an adorable 5/7/5 contribution poem you have penned.
Very descriptive imagery ~ fun use of "watering hole" and your
last line is buzzing with excitement!
I like your "tiny musicians" analogy and the alliteration there.
What a great photo choice as well. You are very talented!

This is lovely. Your image is just beautiful, and your words in this gentle poem, with musical tones are all well chosen. It's a great entry for the Haiku Club.

That's so adorable! I've never known hummingbirds to share with any other hummer but it's so cool that they will share with bees! Love how you use their sounds as music in your poem. In French, hummingbird is oiseau-mouche (bird-fly) and in Korean it's bul-sae (bee-bird).

Debra,
WOW! That is an amazing image! Sometimes these photographers really kill me - HOW do they do it? They have to just be in the exact right place in the right time. WOW.
But, on the other hand, your poem is a great accompaniment to this image. What fun! I think the photographer would be very pleased. I wish there was so way you could send this to him/her. Thanks!

Charming whimsy--you nailed the title. Brilliant choice of dual-meaning words--thanks for making it clear for those of us who are not metaphorically-minded!
