There is nothing wrong with being old as long as you still have a soul and I hate labels as they don't mean anything and I have often been surprised at who the person is behind the facade, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

I am not sure how I would react if someone called me "an old soul." Literally, I am, but the expression has so many vague connotations. I like how you make the reader ponder. Rod

I love your poem. I think the idea of breaking stereotypes and I really think that the message of this poem is key. I have been called an old soul as well, and while I do not find it offensive, I feel like it could be at times. Thanks for sharing.
