It is good to finally read something nice about the dandelion. In retrospect, we must admit it is quite pretty and when it is interspersed in all the green grass it usually occupies the contrast is quite beautiful. Few people know that the dandelion leaf is a great means of purifying blood.

Thank you Ralf for you wonderful review. I didn't know about purifying blood but years ago, I used to make dandelion tea, we ate the greens in salad and it makes a great wine. They truly are prolific.

My wife does the gardening in our yard and pulls out every dandelion she sees, but I share your admiration of this "weed's" tenacity and bright coloring. I, too, miss Adewpearl and her wonderful dandelion poems. Rod
