You have created a beautiful poem about Mary, mother of God. There is a spiritual feel and flow to your words that takes the reader to another place."She saw Him lifted up to heaven" is a wonderful line that gives the reader good feelings.

I try to bring the story to life. I'm not religious as such - have a very strong faith and I am a 'sensitive' you will have to google that one!

Thank you Aussie for this timely reminder of the message of the Blessed Mother Mary...Jesus came not to condemn the world, but to save the world that we all could be free from sin and eternal death. This is a spiritually motivated well written poem. Well done.

Hello Kace, this is a lovely entry to the club event. We tend to forget that Jesus was born of an earthly woman. You have written a lovely story from the mother's point of view. She had, like any other mother, love for her child.. Love your story - warm wishes, good luck , Love Dorothy x

What a lovely write Aussie. Such simpleness and clarity fitting for the subject matter at hand.
Yes, we know the story, and we know the event, told a million times, but I could read this a few times, so beautifully written, with care attached to someone who really cares...the writer.
Bravo.
A lovely thing.
Have a beautiful day. This offer is calming indeed.
My best wishes.

Hello RG, Without love we are nothing. God and the Holy family offer unconditional love if folks will only turn back and ask for forgiveness they would be so much happier in the arms of Jesus. Bless you my friend. Love, Kay XX

Well done with meaningful imagery. Hits home with every mother. Emotions rise both in the positive vein and in the negative vein of loss of a child. GracieAnne :)

What a wonderful poem, Kace. Your words presented the life of Mary the Mother of Jesus. I loved the picture of the dove and the background color, they brought a sense of peace and calm. Very well done.

Among the women of God, none was more blessed than Mary, who was ordained of women to bear the Son of the Most High, Jesus, and later, watched her beautiful Son die on the cross for the sins of the man, she was the vessel who was chosen to carry Him for nine months, and watched the angels celebrate on that day. Beautifully written Kay, good job, blessings Roy

Your poem about the Lord's mother is moving, descriptive, and reverent.
One thing: Line 4 seems to be saying that Mary was born in a manger. I know what the line means, but it could easily be changed to make the proper statement.
