Wonderful work with this poem. I enjoyed how you were able to sincerely express the joy and mellowed out excitement of the summer seasons with your piece. Thought the line about nerds watching birds was very funny. Well done.

If I am playing with the bolded words I am geting quite a funny picture; "calm-bread-pick-a nic-grill -birds-sunset:) But I get the gist. Life must be enjoyed with friends and family. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

This is cute. I, too, love the way yogi bear says picnic. And the the picture you found to go with the poem is absolutely perfect.
Best of luck in the contest!

When you said picnic you sounded just like Yogi bear! It was fun and creative. Good presentation. Good rhymes, and I got a visual of a thick slice of bread. Hahaha. Thanks for sharing.

It didn't offer me poetry, I messaged Tom hopefully he'll change it. I appreciate the catch. If I win I should split it with you.
-
No, it doesn't offer it. I think it is default to whatever you previously posted. You should be able to scroll to the correct genre as long as it isn't posted. Check it before you put something in.

I forgot to say you are very welcome, and you don't have to split the winnings if you win:)

This was a fun word. I knew immediately it was Yogi Bear talking. Good job, Mystery Author, incorporating the required words into a fun and pleasing poem. I enjoyed the added bonus of thyme. Best wishes.
Respectfully, Jan

Well this will not make literary history and you used every word required, it is, however, a quick and fun read. I agree with using Yogi's pronunciation, it makes the piece more lively.
Good luck in the contest.
Regards,
Mary

This is a cute entry. I learned a little trick. If you enter a bunch of returns above your text, it will push it all down below the photo so it will display properly and it will be easier to read the rhyme.
