I hate to hear that ringing in the morning.

Wow, such a cute little poem: "

Callous alarm clocks
hands like whips
militant tick-tocks
on power trips

they're cruel
they rule
never stop
tickety-tock

every morning
without warning
alarming blunderbuss
making a fuss

just isn't fair
they don't care
jarring our sleep
until we're asleep
six feet deep " Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest you got my vote:)

Isn't our relationship with alarm clocks strange? We buy them, put them beside the bed, program them to wake us, and then we hate them! Cute poem - well done.

What would have made this a five star poem in your judgment.

A great piece of contemporary satire poetry. The presentation is greatly enhanced with the chosen artwork that supports your poem. Enjoyable to read.

Good entry for this contest. Lines are required length and rhyming is good. We may not like alarm clocks but often we need them.

Can't argue with needing them, but don't have to like them. Thanks for your read and review.

Ban all alarm clocks! Bury them instead. This is a clever short-line poem expressing how many people feel about being awakened. I can't relate, because I've never needed on. I like the hands being whips. Good luck in the contest.
