Three lines so well written. I loved how you blended your words to paint this lovely picture of spring. I can smell the flowers. The artwork you chose was perfect for this poem. Spring is on the way. Best wishes in the contest.

Lovely entry for the 5-7-5 competition, lovely picture and rhyme.
I know that haikus there not supposed to rhyme, I'm not sure if this rule applies in 5-7-5 too?

Good alliteration and personification in this very short 5-7-5 poem. The picture is beautiful, and takes me back to my childhood backyard and the warm scents of spring. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes on your writing.
