Congratulations !

I had to google Yosemite Sam..I had no clue its the name of that gun man (?) in the picture..

I read also he is out for Bugs Bunny .. so I figure hare is referring to BB.

Now that I understand who you are talking about I get the closing line which is a brilliant ah ah line .

Not being American, I don't alway understand the subject .. but I'm curious and google is a great help.

It's a very smart entry and the pic is perfect.

It's clear that you are dedicated to your poetry and you spend time in refining it...

reading your poems make me happy ..

Pleased I had the opportunity to review your post before the voting. Your photo captured my attention first. The author note was an added nuance to your words. P.S. The Looney Tunes were favorite movie shorts when I was a kid. I read the comic books too. Yep, BB slid off the cel/celluloid and escaped from Yosemite Sam. LOL

The winner was referring to Jurassic park , right .. I only saw the first one of that series.

It was witty but I gave peacekeepers its 5th vote .. I thought the pic was cute and the flower instead of the olive branch was a fun twist.

Glad you read the note! I debated whether to italicize or star ?cel.? I recall seeing the Looney Tunes cartoons in theaters when the price of admission for a Saturday matinee and popcorn was about 50 cents. My Mom made us sandwiches, but no drinks, for the intermission break (-;
