I'm not a good judge of sonnets and probably won't be attempting the form. I did enjoy reading this romantic one that you have written. I like
the imagery you've been able to place within it along with your rhymes.

A very happy ending too! I have a question about the following line:

"if she can *by my girl whispering ear."

Not sure what you mean there.

Thanks! Thanks for spotting the mistake. By supposed to be 'be'. The lines tells that he wants the woman to be his lady like girlfriend. I'm happy you enjoyed it.

Thank you for this sonnet, which I was very unfamiliar with. So many different types of poems. I am so traditional, it is hard for me to latch on to all of these different forms of poetry. Your work was very beautiful.

I am loving the sentiments here, but is not a sonnet and lacks the syllable count and meter. A few adjustments would bring it into line and it is worth spending some time on it, I wish you luck, love Dolly x
