These white lacy peacocks are gorgeous and I have seen them before and they are just as delightful as the colourful ones. You brought their mystique to us here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This is a lovely poem and I learned some things from it. I've seen white peacocks in pictures but I really didn't anything about them. They are very beautiful. I wonder if the female find them as attractive as they would one with color.

Beautiful and snobby pride: "I'm still a prideful peacock through and through.
A brother from another mother, I am.
They call me an albino - that's not true.
My leucism is real - I'm not a sham.
My mesmerizing whiteness is unique.
Bedazzled ladies fall for my mystique." Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful information. Our cat loves peacock feathers and my daughter got a few from the pet store. It's the best toy ever for them but I don't think she'd like the white ones. But of course, I'm hoping they got the feathers that fell from the pea fowl. Enjoyed your educational ottava rima!
Suggestion:
Bedazzled, ladies fall for my mystique. (a space after the comma)

Very interesting, but the real question has yet to be answered. Do they attract the females or does the lack of colors leave them lonely?
Well crafted and I thank you for the notes.

Great entry and I wish you well with it. Art selection is perfect. Your words capture the character of the fowl -- pride. Might also apply to some people and media sources I know. I know I am being a tad sarcastic.
