I've been away for a while and haven't had a chance to read much of your work. Interesting poem. I have one comment: the fourth line conveys a different tone than the first three lines and the last line. The heart--to me--is whatever you do, timing, practice, and belief in your dreams will provide success. Skills and talent may or may not affect the outcome depending on how you define success. Just a thought. Enjoyed the read. Thanks for sharing your work. Stay well.

So true. Patience and perseverance are key elements that contribute to one's success. If you do not have it, you will probably not make it very far. I think that anyone who has been writing for a tear or more probably already knows this.
