Yes, Yvonne, I do believe you. It's amazing what some cats can do. My little Pepina is getting smarter my the day. It's a joy to watch. As you say, you just have to prevent PC getting in there. Ulla:)))

I wouldn't be surprised. Thanks, Ulla.

This was so very cute, Yvonne, I can just imagine your surprise when PC does indeed open several cans of cat food overnight, lol. You best put a stronger latch on the pantry. I had a cat years ago that if I didn't have her supper out on time, she would give me five minutes, then get a can out of her cupboard and then sit and meow at me non-stop. Heavens if they had thumbs.

That's funny. Yes, heaven help us if they ever get thumbs. Thanks so much.

You are so welcome Yvonne, mmm cats with thumbs, yikes.

Yvonne,
Is that a picture of the real PC? Does PC stand for Personal Cat?
I thought you were missing your thumbs in the beginning! ha!
Hereditary or something.
Cute story. Cat's seem to be interesting in the sheets and blankets...
mostly when you are making it. Well, perhaps he will figure out how
to open that can of cat food someday...or die trying.

Yes, that is a picture of PC. His initials stand for the place where I found him, a local diner called Pig 'N Chik. He's luck I didn't name him Pig. lol. He thinks it means Perfect Cat, and I don't tell him any different. 8-)

Cute and nice pic of him too!

I know all about that bed making fun, we have that help every time as well. It is fun though. Our cats will take showers with us if we don't lock them out. They love the water. We have four cats. Two with long fur and two with short. Three males and one female. They are very entertaining! LOL Fun story. Well done, Yvonne. Nancy:)

Hello Yvonne.
It seems PC has decided you are either not fast enough or not generous enough. I would suggest not leaving keys and wallet where PC can get to them or he will show up one day with a McDonalds bag full of filet of fish sandwiches.

Cats are so smart and I would guess that at some time you will find the cans all open on the floor someday so watch out. My dogs can open the cupboards but haven't attempted the cans yet.

Well, don't let them read about PC. It may give them ideas.

If cats had thumbs, they'd rule the world. But, even without a pair, they don't do so bad.
I really enjoyed it as I'm a cat person.
My cat's so lazy, even if he had thumbs, he wouldn't use them and still let me open his tins!
I loved your ending - I can just imagine the Psycho theme violins screeching as you open the door and see the opened cans everywhere.
Very amusing.

Aw, come on, the charm is too much. (*grin*) This is adorable, Yvonne. I'm not around FS a lot these days, but I thought I'd pop in for a quick visit, and I'm glad I did now. I enjoyed your story very much. :)

Charming piece--love the bit about "helping" whilst jumping on the trampoline. I can visualize--and smell--those opened cans of catfood!
lids laying=>lying

Thank you. He's quite a character.
Comment from Gloria ....
Ha, I know PC is a smart boy and in addition to helping make the bed, he seems to have almost discovered the trick of opening up his own cans of food.
Good thing to put a better latch on the pantry even though that too he will figure out over time.
A most fun animal crackers story. :)

Thank you. Yes, a latch would not deter him one bit. I could tell so much that he does that would astound you.
