I afraid all these scammers have turned me into a very rude and distrustful person. I don't believe anything said to me by phone and very little I read on the computer. I've yelled at people who just happened to get a wrong number. Why are there so many people out there trying to scam us. It must pay better than a real job.

The number of scams, either by phone or email, seems to have exploded since the lockdowns of COVID. Is it because people are more vulnerable and out-of-touch with reality? Or is it desperation on the part of the scammers to create themselves an income from home? It is amazing the number of other-wise intelligent people who fall for these scams. Thanks for sharing this warning.

Funny you should write about this right now. I just got a phone call yesterday 'from Apple concerning a security breach in my iCloud account'. They wanted me to click through to find out more info and speak to a rep. Ummmm... no. That's not how Apple works. That's how scammers work.
Ugh. But I just wonder how many people fall for that. I'm afraid my son might fall for it. Bless him. He is far too trusting.
