Ira went into full-blown bark mode and rushed toward the door, her nails clipping across the hardwood floor.~~LOVE the picture this painted!

Well...that ending...hubba hubba. :-))

Another great chapter. I didn't catch any fixes. Good job, girl.

    Thanks so much! :)

Glad you liked the little romance at the end. My Detective Manuel Sanchez has been an ol' bachelor long enough. I think he deserves a love interest. Plus, he's so fun to write about. I like adding some mystery in to the story. Although, this chapter took me over a week to write. I had the worst case of writers block. Ugg!

Thanks again for taking the time to read another chapter.
    Big hugs,
    Shana :)

Manuel and Frank had got onto who and perhaps where Joseph might be, they know his dad had murdered the child's mother, but that's as far as they've, but they know Katie Mendoza, I'm wondering if that's Joseph's therapist? But it seems they're on to something, Kathryn, a nurse at the hospital place where Manuel was admitted, calls and asks Manuel to kiss her, and wow! He does. Great episode Shana, beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy

Thanks so much, dear friend :)

Yes, Katie is Joseph's therapist. The question is: When the detectives visit with her, asking questions about Joseph, will she tell them anything or abide by the client-patient privacy act? Hmm... stay tuned.
I wanted to give Detective Manuel a love interest. He's been a bachelor for way too long. He deserves true love.
Thanks for taking the time to review my chapter. You're always a wonderful support! I appreciate you.

    Always your fan,

Sounds like they might be getting somewhere with their missing person. I have mixed feelings about that. I don't want a killer to run free, of course, but I like Joseph and don't want to see him locked away, but the voice will make him kill again if he's not. Your chapter is well-written, very interesting, believable from start to finish. Your characters are realistic, really came to life. Like always, I look forward to reading more.

The detectives are definitely getting closer to finding out who Joseph really is. And don't forget, he's dating Frank's niece. He just hasn't put the two together since Joseph is going by his mother's maiden name. If they talk to Katie Mendoza, who is Joseph's therapist, they may discover his true identity. Stay tuned.
Thank you for taking the time to read my chapter. I always look forward to hearing what you think. I do appreciate your support!

Chilling. Thrilling. Truth to those that see -- additional knowledge to those that know. I clicked on as your first time reader mainly because of the title -- I connected to Blood Diamonds. If you don't know what I am talking about do a bit of research in South Africa. Take some time to get to know mercenaries. Best to you with your writing.

    Thanks so much, Jean :)

So thrilled you enjoyed the chapter! I was hoping maybe the title might draw in new readers. Glad to see it caught your eye.
Yes, I have read about Blood Diamonds in South Africa. I believe the actor, Leonardo DiCaprio made a film on that in 2006. Of course it was a fictional account of rebel militias in Sierra Leone fueling a bloody civil war through the sale of precious gems. But still, the true story of Blood Diamonds is very tragic and still remains a serious problem.

Thanks again! I hope to hear from you again.
    Sincerely,
    Shana :)

    Thanks so much, Faye :)

Glad you enjoyed this one. I do love my detectives. They actually came into the story in the 3rd book, but their characters blossomed in the fourth. Detective Manuel Sanchez is a touch cookie to crack. He's old school and a long time bachelor. I wanted him to finally find someone that would be his match. Manuel and his partner Frank are so much fun to write about. It makes me happy to see you like them as well. And glad you liked the pictures I gathered.

Thanks again for all your support and fabulous review!
