Your acrostic poetry and artwork pair perfectly. The rhyming flows smoothly adding a fun note to the subject of puppets. I like the fact that rather than talk about puppets, you make the puppet speak. Well done.

Thanks for your review. The idea was that the puppet was talking to the puppeteer.

A puppet captures the interest of an adult audience as much as that of children. There is something compelling about watching and listening to a puppet. Original and fresh entry. Good wishes.

very fun write and how these puppets entertain us in so many ways
so creative and original and nice photo
you brought this to life with well chosen words with the story line
very believable with a well penned poem
I hope for the best in the contest

Puppetry is an art that seems to have lost its place, for the moment in the artistic hierarchy - yet it is age-old and with solid foundations as an entertainment medium - thanks for highlighting

This acrostic poem, PUPPETRY, presented with a vertical, first-letter theme, petitions the reader to embrace the art form and believe.

I hope your puppet doesn't tell any lies. I think I've seen everything now since you dedicated a poem to puppetry. Good luck in the contest. Stay safe and stay healthy.

What a lovely offering for the contest, I just love your metaphor about life:"
Pull up on those strings of life
Uplift your voice to me
Prepare to make me come alive
Please believe in puppetry" Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

It is amazing how our grandchildren love the puppetry of Mr. Rogers. They've never seen anything like it before. What a wonderfully written poem.
Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day, and God bless.

This is creatively written. I suppose poetic license will allow you to speak of puppetry, although you have personified a marionette. I particularly like the last line.
