June,
I really love the sound and images of this poem. The bee is so important; Einstein said that the extinction of the bee on earth, will cause humanity's extinction.
You've penned an excellent nature poem.
Best wishes for the contest.

I appreciate the positive feedback- thank you!

Yes, we have to keep the buzzing bees around to help pollenate our plants. Nicely done with your Quatern for the Potlatch Club June, and a great photo, I bet that took the photographer some amount of patience to get. Lovely presentation,
cheers

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this piece!

Your challenge poem is in great form, June. The presentation is super--the color scheme, the image, the use of end rhymes, and the great, and true, message. So many don't realize the importance of the bees. They only see them a nuisance. Your repeated line fits in seamlessly in all appearances.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Excellent quatern. You made good use of your repeating lines. It certainly is spring when the bumblebees get to work. Love the photo. Lovely presentation.

Our bumble bees are yellow where yours are red.
Are you in Europe, Canada, or Australia? Yes,
What you say is true. I always look for the Humming bees'
on May first here. We have a short spring. A day or two then it's summer for three months then it's fall. LOL
Well done, June. Nancy:)

I loved your poem. I can't way for the sound of bumblebees competing fro pollen and causing our flowers to bloom. Lets home the changing climate allows their survival to continue so that we may continue also.

You have done a great job with this verse and the Bee theme. I had forgotten about the Quatern poetic form and I am glad to read your very well constructed one as an example. Great job, June.

One of your best poems June. Glorious photo to compliment your poem. Your bees are much bigger than ours (show off) I watch them drink from the birdbath. Sigh, we are losing a lot through the drought. Good luck in the latch on the pottie" Hee, Hee. Love K xx
