I had trouble, but I made it to the end. I had to read some passages a few times in order to understand the dialect. However, the story was creative and interesting. Yes, very long, and the accent of the leprechaun characters made it harder to read than normal, I wonder if sometimes. It's best to write it in ordinary spelling and let the imagination run with the accent. But very clever and most imaginative, I know how hard it can be to write this length. Bur well done, clever retelling ofbthe story, well done, blessings Roy

Hey you! Ten thousand stars for so meticulously writing in the dialect of the Leprechaun...(although I thought I was tripping and fell into a Chaucer Tales sort of language experiment at first! Once I got the hang of it, I went back to the beginning and read through this more smoothly. FIRST--great MASH UP! SECOND....I thought I was the only one to misread or otherwise mispost a poem I meant for a contest! Rumpelstiltskin is one of my very favorite fairy tales...and you wove him in and around and through this will a skilled writer's hand. So sorry you were not able to enter! (I never noticed that rule of not entering if you've won in the past thirty days....) This would have been a contender for sure!--Karenina

I am so pleased you picked up on the Beth and Rodney relationship. I try to add a lesson in my Frankie stories but this one was difficult with it already having so much going on. Appreciate your kind words!
